Coach O, why is he considered 'dumb'?

Disclaimer: Check my past post, they are 100% against the hiring of O. Nothing would make me happier than replacing O and Alleva with more experienced replacements...
Question: What has O done (or not done) to be considered dumb? Is it his thick accent? I constantly see him being called 'dumber than his assistants' and constantly referred to as "shrimp boat captain", etc.
As I spoke with a co-worked today, I made an implication that O was dumb and he asked me why. I honestly could not give a good answer.
So I ask, what has he clearly done or not done to be constantly considered as having below average intelligence? Let's not confuse considering him a bad coach or under-qualified to coach at LSU with being dumb.

In the same vein that he is a good recruiter and motivator, he is also a good self promoter and salesman.

I wouldn’t call him dumb.
He’s savvy and street smart. Knows his way around politics.

It's his abject failure at his prior head coaching job primarily.
Also, read some stories about how he tore his shirt off at a pep rally. There are some other stories like that too if you want to do a little digging. It's some real mongoloid shite.
Also, listen to some of the interviews that he has given even just over the course of this past year. I guess having poor communication skills doesn't necessarily mean that you are stupid, but God damn did he say some cringy shite that implied a total lack of self awareness. "Hope and pray."
Also, read some stories about how he tore his shirt off at a pep rally. There are some other stories like that too if you want to do a little digging. It's some real mongoloid shite.

He's not dumb at all, I think he's smart actually. I also think he's a fantastic asset to LSU as a position coach and recruiter. I just don't think he has what it takes to run a program the caliber of LSU.

ive never called him dumb. shrimp boat captain, yeah. But i dont assume all shrimpers are dumb.
I dont really see how this is any diff than the lsu fans calling for miles head. That he is a bumbling idiot, elmer fud, any dumbass can win 10 games at LSU, list goes on.

Face it he's considered dumb because of his accent. Truth!
You know what else? If you have a southern accent anyone outside the southeastern U.S. automatically views you about 100 points less on the IQ scale. Truth!

Terry Bradshaw was considered dumb too. And here he is millions & millions of dollars later living the good life on his big arse ranch. A lot of what Coach O is about IS his South La./Cajun heritage. Talk to most folks down the bayou and a majority sound just like him. And there are a ton of millionaires down there.

It's not different at all. It was "dumb" when people spoke about Miles that way. You don't move your way up the coaching ranks and continue to get high paying jobs if you are unintelligent on some level. Being a bad coach doesn't make you dumb.

You know the bar fights almost killing people, the ripping off shirts and challenging SEC athletes to fights at almost 50 years old, screaming like a maniac at reporters, talking about speeding down the interstate to blaring rock music at almost 60 when offered his “dream job”, staring down reporters likes boxer at a weigh in saying we comin and we not backin down when asked a question at a press conference.
Yeah, booger eating trash acts that way. Dumb just goes with the territory.
