Remember last off season when you said LSU needed another 2 classes before they could plug and play?

I’m not even going to address that.

The shite you accuse me of saying is just about never accurate.

Interesting that he said that's why he BROUGHT no pelini in.
He BROUGHT him in because we no longer had a DC when Aranda took a head coaching job.

While I don't think Brennan will be Joe (and no one should expect him to be), I think he will be very good.

Brennan Highlights

There was another video of every pass of his for the season in order but can't find it. This one is nearly the same.

What gives me hope is you can see the dramatic increase in comfort in the pocket between the Northwestern St. game and A&M game. Early in the season he was bouncing up and down and looked antsy. In the A&M and SECCG, he looked much calmer and didn't have as much of a nervous body language.

Might not have been your exact words but you definitely said last off-season that LSU wasn’t on the plug and play level like bama, etc just yet

If Jabril Cox is as advertised, can anyone run the ball against this front 7? They are huge and athletic. And if teams have to throw the ball every down, the QB is going to get killed. This defense is scary and so is the DC. I cant wait to see these guys. I think Shelvin is better than Suh. They all look like early draft choices to me.

I was just thinking of who Myles could compare to that was just a leader with a talented team around him and it just popped in my head Ken Dorsey.... Da U had great talent and he was a very talented Qb in college hell he lead them to 2 national championship games

It’s just a shame that 2020 just may not happen. Each day we set record numbers of new cases the bleaker it looks for a fall season.

Not me. I’ve defended The roster building at just about every turn for 3 years now.

I agree with him with the exception of only Joe Burrow.

I agree and I think that is why Aranda suddenly started looking for a new job. As he could see Ed O's mounting frustration with his over complicated read and react 3 - 4 defense and the piss poor pass rush it generated season after season.

As for three-quarters of the season last year, face it, Dave Aranda's defense shite the bed. Now a lot of that had to do with injuries as well. But nonetheless, LSU played way below their talent level.

Anyway, Dave Aranda and the defense finally got their act together for the final four games of the season and when they did, LSU just blew by their opponents all the way to the National Championship.

Imagine if the whole season would have been like the final four games of 2019. Hopefully with Bo Pelini it can happen in 2020.

2018 was the year that Louisiana had its worse level of recruiting prospects in several decades. After 2018 that's why Ed O made his decision to go national with recruiting and thankfully it has been a humongous success.

Can Myles do the same thing?????

No, no one can do the same thing because there is only one Joe Burrow and he is the greatest college football QB of all time. As only one person can be Joe Burrow and that is Joe Burrow. Just be happy we had him for as long as we had him.

All Myles can do is be the best Myles Brennan he can be and if that turns out to be very solid, then that will be all we can ask.

Great post, except no one agrees with you because although it is great, it is also stupid as hell.

Injuries certainly played a big part. I think players were a lot more banged up than we know. As for Aranda's D it's predicated on keeping everything in front of you (read and react as you stated) and not giving up big plays. The frustrating part was for 3/4 of the season we weren't even limiting the big plays.

Pelini's style is high risk, high reward. There will be big plays given up, but that's a calculated risk for turnovers and sacks. The more the offense proves themselves I suspect the more aggressive Pelini will be with the D. I'm really excited to how the new players and new staff perform.

This is something very underrated about Orgeron, especially juxtaposed with Miles. His recruiting has intention to it.

Sounds like Saban.
I remember Saban, when asked by his staff about any recruit, saying where is he going to play? If he doesn't have a position/need then, we don't want him.

Great coach speak but no way we are talented as what just left. Totally disrespectful to the 2019 team.
