I do however know several black guys who have had this very same situation done to them and they were taken in for further questioning. One was even charged butlater released when they actually caught the right guy.
You’re too naive to be speaking on the topic if you think this doesn’t and has never happened to white people. You think that white people are never suspects for violent crimes involving weapons? You think that police don’t take the same precautions with a potentially armed white suspect that they do with a black one? You’ve got a lot to learn it seems. And sure ya do. Everyone knows somebody that knows somebody that this has happened to. Maybe instead of blaming the cop they should blame the criminal who committed the crime that the cops were investigating in the first place.

You are very ignorant on how police do their work, what training they have and how stressful and dangerous the job actually is.
I have no idea about the facts of this case nor will I speculate. I can tell you I have pulled guns on a person who looked exactly like a murder suspect. After we figured out we had the wrong person we explained to him why we had acted the way we did. He completely understood

Of course O didn't write it. So what. With all the tension around social injustice would LSU want a shrimp boat coach commenting? They handled it correctly. Quit trying to make it into a problem.

I'll be your huckleberry. I've had the cops approach me several times with guns drawn and I'm not a gun carrier and never have been unless I was hunting. I'm as white as it gets.
You never know under what circumstances the cops were called to an area or why they're coming guns drawn until , comply, answer their questions and then ask your own. I've had them toss me around and restrain me until they are satisfied I'm no longer a threat and then had them explain why they approached the way they did. The key is not to be an a-hole to them when they have the upper hand. If you treat them like humans the likelihood is that once they're satisfied they're safe they'll treat you like one. Until then you are a suspected criminal in their minds. That's the job.
This is a situation where everyone is assuming one side or the other is telling the truth with no evidence to back it up. Use Jussie Smollett as you reference. Or imagine if the Blake incident wasn't filmed. The narrative would rule with no evidence to the contrary. It's a slippery slope.

In just pointing out the wait for facts crowd is really ok with cops not waiting for facts.
Even though me jumping to conclusions doesn’t involve a chance of someone being shot.

Interesting. So you really believe that cops are going up and shooting random people just because they may be a suspect in a crime? Do you have any evidence of this? There’s a difference in ensuring the safety of yourselves and the public and flat out murdering someone. Police can determine if the suspect is responsible for whatever crime it is after it is safe for them to do so. It’s not a hard concept. Where did you get information suggesting that the cops didn’t want facts?
