Finley is the best of bad options. He’s played fine in Tiger Stadium.

If we can’t run the ball it doesn’t matter who’s back there. Max isn’t Lamar so let’s not get it twisted. He isn’t running on Bama anyway

Confirmed that Finley will start. That’s a good thing too.

You start Max. Finley will be benched by the third series in this game. Coach O is in clown mode right now.

Might as well play ZVR. It’s gonna be rough for anyone back there

They were going to, but his arthritis is acting up.

Incorrect. Finley has the potential to win you the game.

Max has the potential to keep it close.

Go for the win

They need Max around for the rest of the season. No point in getting Max hurt against Bama when there is virtually 0 chance that LSU wins.

They’ll both play and figure out the hot (or in this case lukewarm) hand

You start Max vs A&M and we’re likely still in that game going into the 4th. Finley doesn’t improve our chances of winning anything.

Exactly you fricking retard. I said max will keep games close but Finley has the skill set and potential to win you a game. He played like shite so they put in max. If he plays like shite against bama....they will put in max. Very simple to understand

How so? Finley proved that he could beat South Carolina. And he played damn good. But neither has proven that they could beat Bama or what they might even do against a team with their talent. Finley has really struggled in his last two of his last 3 games and gave up points (though I still think he has very good potential). It would take much more than either one of them to beat Bama. The whole team would have to play up to their potential.

Both will likely play, but Bama's pass rush was ridiculous last week against Auburn. Johnson did look better avoiding the rush last week, so he seems to have the edge there (and he did get us our only TD last week). Whoever is back there will need to use his feet and get rid of it fast if they aren't escaping the pocket.

I agree . I’ve only watched two games and I noticed he does need to have the receivers standing still to hit although he has hit a few in stride but not many.

What does Oregon have to do with LSU?
