1. The head coach doesn't play in the game.

2. Key players were out.

3. The number one QB is out.

4. Coordinators are new. You may not like the fact that some of the coordinators are new, but the learning curve is there.

5. There were a few questionable calls in the UCLA game.

6. It was the first game of the year. UCLA had already played a game.

Wow, so many excuses.

His hires are terrible. Imagine if he didn’t already have Aranda, Raymond and even E on staff.

He then probably never gets Brady. Look at all his passing game, DL, OC and DC hires since he got the job. Yikes.

When you get paid Saban's type money, you are the head coach, you are not perform to that standard, of course, you should take all the blame! 100%

Yes. Saban has a terrible time breaking in coordinator after coordinator year after year....Oh wait they look the exact same year after year. PREPARED and firing from the jump. Wonder what the constant is in that scenario?

Well it’s pretty simple.

Sec play starts pretty soon and this will all work itself out .. or way or the other

Saban is an outlier.

This team doesn't have Top 20 talent. Like last year, everyone overrates the talent and they then get pissed off at the Coach when things don't go right.

A reasonable person would consider a final ranking between 15 and 20 as being a good result with the current talent.

A final ranking between 10 and 15 would be one hell of a season.

Now do Kirby, Day, Riley, and Dabo for good measure.

You are one of the typical idiots that will forever make up excuses after excuse for this team. "Saban is the outlier" dude just shut up. You like being second tier I get it. You are a beta. That is fine. The rest of us are not. He is being paid for results and that is not second place or hell last place like it looks.

You are probably one of the same idiots who blamed all of last year on covid. When every other team in the country also dealt with it. Just stop it already

Coach Jones was a victim, like Coach O, of these coach witch hunts.

I'm tired of the "blame the Coach" mentality. THere are a lot of factors at play, including that the talent is greatly overrated by the fans.

No.

Worst case, LSU will have a 4 loss season, which is a solid result given the lack of talent on this team. I personally guarantee that 4 losses will be the max, maybe just 3.

This is year 5, plus the interim season. Who, exactly, do you think is responsible for the talent level on the team?

On second thought, I think you're just trolling with your entire post. You can't possibly be serious.

There are a variety of factors that determine the talent level of a team. The desirability of the location? The other "talent" that has already been recruited. The reputation of the school. Injuries to talented players.

Every school has three stars that turn out great and five stars that bomb out.

There is a lot of luck in recruiting.
