False. Players admitted we were running plays from 2016 for the Troy game, and we lost.

We went back to Canada's offense full-time the following week, and we jet-sweeped Florida to a 1-point win, and ended up having a okay season by continuing to run Canada's offense.

Orgeron didn't do anything but delay the installation of a new offense by a first-year OC.

Only when Brady came did the offense explode in 2019. With the exact same talent.

Sorry, but although we all respect Ensminger, he simply wasn't a good OC.”

MAYBE, or just maybe the difference with Brady there is that HE allowed Joe Burrow to be the on the field play caller.

He's gone at end of season. I don't understand why you guys just can't let it go and look forward to the new coach. Take a deep breathe and move on

Well there a lot of talk he wasn't letting Peetz call shite. Until he was fired.

wrong. we slowed down on all the motion that was causing us to get penalties. Of course we still ran jet sweeps.

Any HC that sees tons of penalties would and should tell the OC to simplify things until the team can run and execute the offense without penalties.

He was a good dline, db and S&C coach from that. He relied on Raymon who is a great recruiter but not X&O concept guy. Aranda covered a lot.

Well he should, because he isn't smart enough to put together a game plan of any sort.

Pelini is an absolutely incompetent moron. The guy said it takes four years to learn his system. Nothing is dumber than that.

I up voted but also want to point out there was a problem calling plays very late. Word was O had last call rights on all plays. That could have helped increase penalties. I saw late substitution a couple times in a quick review of those first games.

In 2005, Pelini was hired by LSU Tigers Head Coach Les Miles, again as defensive coordinator. His success continued, as LSU was ranked 3rd nationally in overall defense for each of his three years with the Tigers. At the conclusion of the 2007 regular season, the LSU Tigers defeated the Tennessee Volunteers 21–14 in the 2007 SEC Championship Game and went on to win 38–24 against the Ohio State Buckeyes, Pelini's alma mater, in the 2008 BCS National Championship Game.[6][7]
Not saying they weren't great defenses but some of the stats that led to a 3 national rank COULD have been bolstered by Les' ball control offense which kept the defense on the sideline which aids in stats.

Coach O is not going to be our coach going forward. Whether he should be fired and why is now buried. Do we have to keep burying the issue. Continuing to criticize a coach that has already been fired serves no useful purpose. Its like running over a dead dog on the road, it doesn't get "deader" is just gets flatter.

Remember the Canada saga? O couldn’t keep himself from meddling. And you know he was meddling with Ensminger. And he openly doubted Aranda in 2019 bc Aranda wouldn’t let him meddle and change the defense. O specifically hired Pelini bc Pelini would run the defense that O wanted but Aranda wouldn’t run it. O has consistently been telling his offensive coordinators what they should run except in 2019 - this year hes been telling Peetz to do whatever the media recommends (“run the ball more”, “use different running plays”, “throw the ball deep”)

O has never stopped meddling

people in the know say he is a great play caller

. That’s why he’s been fired everywhere he’s been an OC. Auburn sucked with ensminger as OC with Jason Campbell the next season with ensminger gone they go undefeated. Link all those on the know who say he’s a great play caller?

Plus if he was a great play caller would LSU have been shut out vs bama in 18 with burrow, chase and company?

Then again does anything much on here really serve a useful purpose?

When you’re 15-0 and COY, everything you say is the gospel
When you’re 8-9 and fired, everything you say sounds like Charlie Brown’s teacher, “whop, wh0mp, whomp, whii i i!!!
