It's the same all the way around. Anytime there's a polarizing subject, the most extreme of views are looking for any reason to say "I told ya so."

Maybe you should watch games more and realize how often we send Whit, Divinity and/or The other OLB (Thornton or Anthony)

Well honestly half of our fanbase wanted all the best players to sit out the bowl game and go pro anyway so it's obvious that this does not bother any of them.

Negatigers-O should be fired immediately will never win again. Texas is going to beat them by 50.
If LSU wins, O will have failed. LSU is far more talented, even missing starters, and UCF is missing its single best player (Milton) for this game.
That said, firing Orgeron would be a disaster. Who takes the job as head coach if you fire the head coach after a bowl loss, about a month after the AD talked about potentially giving the head coach a raise?
No. The loss to UCF will probably demonstrate, yet again, why LSU needs to change it's offense. You know... the thing people have been harping on all year and for damned good reason?
*ETA -- To be clear: 0.00% Orgeron gets fired.

BS - I watched every minute of that TAM game. I watched them make big plays on the 4th down call, TD pass sending it to OT, and on numerous scores (to include 2 pt conversions) in OT with just a 3-man rush.

Already setting the narrative for an excuse to lose.

He's telling it like it is, and it's an exciting preview of next season.

The defense is going to give up yards and points to UCF. They are one of the best offenses in the country.
LSU's offense is going to have to score some points.

Oh so you saw our 3 pass rusher flush the QB and force him to overthrow a covered receiver who happened to make an amazing catch?

How are we supposed to know what O meant from one sentence? I get some of you may have heard the radio show, but for those of us who did not can you elaborate more on when this was said and what it was an answer to?

We aren’t firing O, but I think There are a few coaches who think they could do a better job than O.

No, I saw a QB have all kinds of time on that play, and especially on the 4th down conversion, to survey the field and allow the WR's to get downfield (over 15 yrds). This happened on many plays in OT, and specifically on at least one 2-point conversion. I'm saying scheme matters, and it can be adjusted for UCF.

Yeah, let's put LSU's 3rd and 4th string corners on an island out there.

He made a throw on the run and Rogers made an insane 1 handed catch.
It wasn’t a bad playcall, just a great play.

Orgeron notes that players who we haven’t seen play, will be taking the field. Just wondering how many have we not seen play?

Or we can let the QB stand back there all day, let the receivers shake the coverage and eventually get open for big plays.
The 1st post on this thread stated 'Also expect changes on defense after dissecting the Aggie game'. Sure we are going to see some new personnel, but adjusting the scheme specifically the pass rush on certain down/distances will be critical for success. Sure you can hide your secondary deficiencies and inexperience with more in coverage, but you better balance it by coming after the QB on longer down/distances so the receivers have less time to get downfield and get open to make plays.

Go watch their last TD in regulation,
He wasn’t standing in the fricking pocketZ
We got pressure with 3 had guys covered and Monds was on the run.
You’re just talking out your arse because you want to blame Aranda because he didn’t get a sack.

I would guess, like many others have said, that he's just saying that our defense will have a bunch of new faces on defense due to injuries.
Maybe it's not necessarily new faces as in they have never played a down, but new faces in starting positions (but they have seen playing time as a back up in other games).

There are times throughout the season that Aranda went too conservative, but the end of the aTm game, and OT in particular, is not one of them. In that situation, the thought process is have 7-8 tired guys covering space rather than 4-5 tired guys. This is very, very basic stuff.
The notion that we are routinely going to see 3 man pressures from Aranda throughout 90% of a game is ignorant.
