Bama as vulnerable on the back end of their defense. Much mor volnrable than they have been. A weak schedule and TUA and a very strong defensive line cover d that up.

LSU telegraphs plays. Or tips plays. And our O Line was so bad we could not exploit the weakness.

Saban is greatest at leveraging Bama's resources to exploit loop holes in the NCAA rule book. He's the greatest since, well, Bear Bryant.
I buy that^

He’s 2-2 so maybe he’s as good.

And maybe Dabo took a few steps.

He wasn’t winning the ACC consistently until the last 4 years. Clearly having Watson and lawrence have elevated Clemson’s game.

That dominant DL has been there for around 4 years too.

So, either Saban has "lost a step", or he was never as good as Dabo is now.

Or Sabans like a 10/10

And Dabo took a step andnis now also a 10/10

It’s also not just Dabo and Saban

Clemson’s staff was way better this year.

Venebles > Lupoi
Elliot/Scott > Locksley/Enos

Or maybe they're both outstanding coaches, Saban hasn't actually "lost a step" and Dabo got the best of him that night?

Yeah, except Dabo is competing with FAR less talented players.

Is he?

His QB is one of the highest rated players EVER

His team is full of 4 and 5 stars and the most talented person on the field is his QB

Saban is great at bringing in top talent every year, Dabo did a good job keeping the top talent he recruited over 4 years together on this team.

He had a 4 year starter at LT who was a senior. He returned everyone from the best DL aim the country .

Sabans best attribute is that he reloads better than any team in the country.

How is Clemson gonna look loosing 9 starters and a key backup on the DL?

Even for YOU, this is an absurd reach.

Dabo has had averaged below the top-10 in recruiting classes over the past 6 classes, Bama is close to first across the board in recruiting in the past 6 classes.

Saban has had MUCH better talent Period.

Saban has a more talented team, but you don’t play 85.

Clemson’s starters were all very highly Rankes

They had 2 5* Linemen return for their senior year.

Clemson has an average class ranking of #9 over the past 5years.

Alabama has an average of #1 the last 5yrs.

So, yes Saban has much better talent.

With Special Teams and rotations, you likely play 55,

Please quit trying to claim Saban doesn't have better talent. It is dishonest.

I really like the composite talent ratings. Interesting to me are the 5* players on roster. LSU is pretty low compared to most in the top 15

Will probably rise in 2019. LINK

Look at UGA

Then, when the SEC Championship Game and the playoffs rolled around, and they played the 3 strongest teams they faced all season, they only beat Georgia by 7, Oklahoma by 11 and got throttled by Clemson by 28. They played close, tough games against teams that went 11-3 and 12-2. And got beat by a team that won 15 games. That's gotta be why Jeaux thinks Saban's slowed down.

They haven't slowed down at all. They just played a really bad game like all teams do. When's the last time they have lost 2 games in a row? When they stop recruiting like they are then they will slowly begin to fade but that has not and will not happen anytime soon

Rotate 55!

Sorry but championships are decided by your 3rd string.

Depth is great in a season, but with nothing after this game I bet You each side played probably less than 44 players.

Fact Check: Clemson has 36 players take more than 10 snaps.
