Its hard to get worse than the beginning of the season and they still had drops in the last 4 games.

Its almost as if we played some shite passing defenses in november. But hey i know defensive rankings only matter when they support your stance.

Oh and for the record.....

Texas a&m the 99th ranked pass defense the 2nd ranked run defense....

Hey lets run right at them. Thats doesnt sound like Miles at all.

With no secondary, LSU loses to a P5 Fiesta Bowl quality team. No playmakers on offense and no secondary, no chance.

So youre saying if we lose those 3 games by passing the ball miles is fine, right? Surely you cant believe this.
If only miles had been one dimensional throwing the ball hed still be here.

but the UCF backup QB did have a damn good game in the regular season finale, didn't he?

Yep.

They beat Auburn last year, pretty handily.

A&M’s run defense wasn’t that stout. Their run defense ranked so high because they were poor against the pass and that’s how teams attacked them. Burrow ran all over A&M with RPOs.

I believe that's the future of our offense.

Ehhhh, beating a group of 5 team w/o its QB isn’t that impressive.

Its not but the bowl game is a ny6. I wont fault lsu for something they cant control in that situation. Imo winning the fiesta was better than 2015 texas tech.

I didnt think Lsu had a chance at losing either game.

The WR group weren't impressive early in the season. E also commented on being unable to audible at the line because certain people didn't know their assignments. This also points to Sullivan. It may be one of the reasons that he moved on. Another problem was blocking schemes. Too often a running back or tight end was asked to block elite edge rushers to disastrous results. LSU has to improve at the tackle position this season and I think that they will.

I don’t know why, but in Miles’ last few years LSU got hosed by being sent to lesser bowls than they deserved.

Should be a 1 loss season. I know people want to think Bama is down but they still have a 2nd team that could probably finish in the top 15.

The entire passing offense was antiquated. Let's see what Brady puts on the field. I'm jacked about it. The Spring game should be an informative early look - but I'm not expecting timing and chemistry until September.

That wasn't with the backup though. I really didn't care for people trying to knock the win because they had their backup when he put up 40 points or whatever it was. I'm not saying anyone is doing that here.

The offense was freshened up enough to lure QB prospects again, something LSU has struggled mightily with.

It was pretty good. They were only giving 3.3 per carry.
But they did have one of the lowest opponents rushing play % numbers like you said.

I agree, but LSU had better score more than zero points in that game this time.

I won’t dare to make predictions, too many things could go wrong. But this should be the first team in years to really challenge for something.

ETA: Nice to play nice with you guys for a change. Good night.

Right, but they're no slouch. They had a really good RZ defense
