particularly when looking at the most important metric....losing to Bama.

And there it is.

The BAMAsession rears it’s ugly head.

Let’s focus on beating #clanga before Bama, shall we?

Making a political analogy to LSU football is always the best way to kickstart a conversation.

More like...what's your point?

There is an obvious concerted effort to either start new users or create alters in the past 18 months with the whole purpose of propping up Ed Orgeron's time in Baton Rouge. These new users seem to only post on the Rant and the Recruiting board and are, almost to a poster, 100% pro Orgeron and attack anyone that doesn't swallow their propaganda.

I, on the other hand, have been around here for a long time and have been extremely positive about the program nearly the entire time. While idiots were running around screaming about the falling sky, I was enjoying a 13-0 start to the 2011 season. For nearly my entire time here, I've been called a sunshine pumper. And I have a ton of posts on this board which can be accessed to either prove this point or prove me wrong should anyone's heart desire.

So...feel free to disagree with my point of view all you want, but unless you're as dumb as a box of fricking rocks no one is going to claim I'm anything but who I have always claimed to be, and that's a lifelong LSU fan whose been here fore over a decade taking part in these conversations. I'm obviously not here to either prop up or shite on Orgeron...I was here long before that.

Why is it so many people whose only take is that Orgeron's balls taste delicious seem to have started so recently?

You've posted damn near 950 posts in just under one month. I don't know how the hell you were able to accomplish such a feat, with your busy life of work, golfing and hobnobbing with family and friends and all. You must really be a force of nature.

But with just a little more hard work, you can reach the one thousand post threshold in your first full month on the rant.

Put in the time Kristy. Aim for the stars. I know you can do it.

At least we scored and crossed the 50 a few times against Troy and didn't have Saban dragging his nuts across our faces on the biggest stage in front of the whole world.

I'm with ya Red. How in the world could Miles allow his team to lose to a chump coach like Saban and a program as bad as Alabama.

At least last years o led team gave that juggernaut program known as Troy all they could handle. I personally couldn't believe we almost pulled out a victory over the mighty Trojans of Troy.

Wait, WHAT?!

Whoever you are, you'd better get off Red's computer before he catches you posting crap he never seemed to care about during the last staff's time here.

He might beat you senseless if he finds out what you posted.

According to you, since app state beat Michigan, and Lloyd Carr resigned at the end of the season, then O should have resigned at the end of the season hotshot.

They started 0-2 and then reeled off 8 in a row before losing back-to-back games to Wisky and Ohio St....who they hadn't beaten since 03.

Carr resigning had more to do with that than the Appy St. loss. But whatever helps you sleep at night dumbass.

“that the App. St loss”

Michigan fans refer to that loss as “ the horror”. As for as factors in his resignation, I’m pretty sure that loss was way up there.

Michigan was #5 in the country

it was supposed to be a routine tune up season opener.

I wanna say LSU's kickoff time had been affected by a tropical storm that weekend and I was laying in bed watching it like "is this really about to happen?"

funny enough, after Brennans pick, I think thats exactly what I said...deja vu
