Coach O has more of a hand in the offense than the defense

The whole philosophy of letting his coaches coach was a sham. This guy is basically a Team Manager/Cheerleader who has great knowledge about the d-line. But yet he insists on having his hand in our offense. I understand having an idea of what you want your offense to be but he just hired his person puppet to be his OC.

It’s liek the same strengths that make a Good DL coach - yelling, being heavily caffeinated , knowing how to rip and tear

Don’t directly translate to being a HC.

Thanks for the insider report. It isn't often that we get someone like you who has been to all the coaches meetings and all of the practices as well to report in.

Canada was viewed as a pariah and a cancer on the football staff. He had to go.

Aranda, O, and Ensminger are all the closest of friends and inseparable. Indeed, they are a ban of brothers. Coach O doesn't make any decisions without running them through both those guys first, as he trusts both those guys immensely.

In fact, there is no way Ensminger would be bumped up to OC if Aranda didn't agree with it too. As a matter of fact, Aranda says Ensminger is a better play caller than Canada is and he should know as he schemed against both of them every day in practice. There are also rumors that Ensminger called all the plays in the A&M game.

Not to mention, it was Ensminger who went out and got the top wideout in the country to sign with LSU. Where was Canada?

This is not an excuse. O hired him. This falls on O.

Yesterday listening to the press conference sounded like Ensminger was running the offense by committee which is scary in itself. But your saying that O is doing the same thing for the whole team? This is a bigger clusterfrick than most realize. Leading from behind. .. this will work out real well.

Care to share any details, names?

If this statement is true, then this can backfire and be VERY detrimental to any organization. I don't want inseparable friends in my business. I want professionals.

Like I said. Orgeron knows he's not qualified to be head coach. He knows he didn't deserve this job. And in his mind, he needs to prove he IS qualified to be head coach, he needs to prove HIS way works. This is why he squashed Canada's ideas, because they weren't his.

Now he has an OC that doesn't want to be OC, so he's more then likely going to go along with what O wants because he doesn't care about the OC position.
