That was a respectful interview and it's obvious that they respect and like coach O

I'm in!

People are really sleeping on this guy. So unfair to judge him on what he did 10 years ago at Ole Miss. People fail to realize some of the great coaches this guy coached under and with.

Get this man a binder!

Jk

I agree with you. He may not sound like the smartest man alive but being a good football coach isnt all about an IQ. Willingness to change by reckognizing your flaws is huge. And 45 year old CEO knew a hellava lot less than 55 yo CEO!

I hope all goes as he plans and he gets his offensive mind to let run wild with these STUDS we have not used.
I only wish this would have happend a year ago so we could have seen Kiffin or Helfrich utilize Jeter and Smith more. I feel bad for those two specifically because I have always thought they had NFL talent that wasn't used here.

And none of them promoted him to defensive coordinator.

Chase Clement agrees with you! Wasted his talent as a blocking TE!

I don't get this hang up.

Not everyone is cut out to be a coordinator. Being a coordinator doesn't mean you'll be a good head coach - plenty of great coordinators flamed out as head coaches.

In fact, you desperately don't want O to be a coordinator because he'll have less time for recruiting, which is one of his strengths.

Miles was an offensive coordinator once upon a time - did he know anything about offense the last few years?

This is just bullshite

All the great ones were before Ole Miss. he coaches for Lane Kiffin and Les Miles (in his last 1.3 seasons) after. I hope he didn't learn shite from Kiffin

He ALREADY fricking flamed out as a head coach. He has the distinction of being Ole Miss' worst coach in their history.

Exactly what I'm saying. People sometimes don't meet their potential on the first try. I think he proves the world wrong.
