Les made way more good hires than bad ones. And when it was really bad he acknowledged and corrected save Cam. A la co-DCs

His "watering the field with beer" commercials were a hit.
I couldn't believe they got Kurt Russell to play Les Miles. Why not get Les to play himself?

Unfortunately Les may be a little too loyal to be AD. He would have a hard time getting rid of his people despite how poorly they performed

I love LSU. That means nothing about qualifications.

based on what? Do you comprehend anything about what an AD does? Do you know the massive speaking obligations of an AD? Miles would make a great clown. A great crazy uncle. a great recruiting coordinator. He wouldn't make even a decent assistant errand boy for the AD's assistant.

Terrible idea imo. He is way to loyal, stubborn, and he refuses to adapt.

Herb Vincent - safe pick and would say yes undoubtedly
I truly believe this is our answer.

I also believe the move should be made soon, regardless of Orgeron.

He would also improve our relations in Birmingham and with the NCAA (which aren't bad).

I see him as being like UF's Foley in influence, just much less of a prick.

Which of his business/administrative skills would make him a good choice for AD?
HIs communication skills. The AD is not a PR job. It's not about love of the institution.

I’m not saying I want him for the position, but I’d say he has a fairly good resume as far as successfully running an institution, don’t you think?

I need to go back and watch those. I watched the game with the sound muted. They did seem interesting.

We need a young, energetic, and creative AD.

We need a Will Wade at AD. Somebody who will listen to fans and not rest until every piece of our athletic programs are improved.

We don’t need to ceremoniously give it to Les because he’s a nice guy who loves LSU.
