Gotcha, I just listened. Interested to see who the 5th is. Sounds like none of those 5 or 6 guys are locked into the starting position for the rest of the year.

Yeah that sounds like a good way to do it. Gives an extended amount of time to play it out on the field with 12 in the top group.
Not sure if he is including the catchers in that or not because obviously there will be a lot of rotation there

Could be Jones with the struggles he had leading into the weekend. If not Frey is my guess.
ETA: Scratch Frey, it would have to be someone who has started the first four games if I’m following the comments correctly.

Catcher probably rotates a lot with Neal’s back and Travinski having a list of injuries through his career.
I think this could also be to keep some guys happy. He called Frey a future golden spikes winner multiple times last season. I think he wants to give guys like him and Ruddell some run to keep them around.

I will cut him some slack there because you are supposed to list off baseball players by last name. First names in baseball are harder to remember who is who for some reason..haha
