Reading between the lines :
Guidry wit be the SS and closer/short relief.
Nippolt will be defensive replacement when he’s pitching
Braswell will be at 2B
Pearson, King and Bingham will be the outfielders.

Losing Skenes is huge but Jay said they are in a better situation with the pitching staff going into 2024 then they were going into 2023.

Big Easy aka Ethan Frey will push to play somewhere. That swing is fluid.

He did confirm the ring ceremony will be during the Florida game. I think that’s awesome

Well there's still 6 months to go before we can say that

The '24 season effectively starts when fall classes commence (8/20?). If we take a snap shot of our pitching staff now, there are a lot less question marks than one would've seen from a snap shot 8/5/22.

I’m very interested in seeing the growth of last years freshman class.

There are 4 quality pitchers coming in from the portal, all pitching recruits making it to campus, plus a handful of returning pitchers that contributed to the natty. Throw in players like Shores and Noot returning from injury that may contribute later in the season and you potentially have a really good pitching staff.

I’m not sure we will see these guys but it would be interesting. There are lots of options.

You will see Noot but Shores is doubtful……it would have to be very late in the season (later than Coleman)

good deal

I’m looking forward to see where Coleman gets. He has command on that FB. Strength and additional trust in his offspeed pitches will make him a very reliable starter

I don’t see why they couldn’t with how the team stands now. Pitching staff is already as deep as ever on paper.
