He has maybe 1 “starting” SEC-caliber player (Wright) — all others are not.

LSU shot 51% with 11 made 3s on the road in the SEC. That is plenty talented enough. They missed too many FTs and got outworked on the boards.

Agreed nobody wants to here this but he’s a good coach just no talent. We got two 4 stars coming ( guard and PF) hopefully he can get some good transfers

Can’t wait for the threads in the offseason saying how he’s putting together a solid roster and it looks like we’ll be much improved. And then the season starts and we suck, and the same people start complaining that we don’t have any talent

CMM needs to teach his team to play defense and stop the careless turnovers that have plagued them all year. Block out and rebound. Those things can be taught. There has been zero improvement all year.

When I say “starting SEC-caliber talent”….. that means not just players who can shoot high FG %…
It means:
1) Basketball IQ
2) Unselfish play (if your shots aren’t falling, get your teammates open looks)
3) Creativity
4) “killer instinct”
