The left field foul line seats were outstanding. No nets, sightlines to the batter were great, easy walk to concessions/restrooms at ground level. For some reason, the shitty metal bleachers and no shade didnt matter in that place.

Absolutely lol. The pussies in here are ruining the experience for baseball fans.
Heckling the opposing players is all part of the experience for the kids playing too. The old box was magic. I remember laughing my arse off at some of the stuff people would say and 99% never cursed at the kids or anything. It was just great heckling. Even the opposing players would often laugh

To me, that prepares the pitcher for when he gets on the mound. If he can handle all that noise and distraction there, he should be good on the bump.

I remember in the mid late 90s, every game my dad took us to we sat near the visiting bullpen. There was always this guy there that heckled the bullpen the entire game. Always the same guy, one of the phrases he used often was "you old goat"
I always thought it was hilarious as a kid
