Just here to say their schedule is trash. There are 15 teams that would go undefeated in the ACC every year.

Everyone is bitter except for the LSU fans. Fine with me.

I’m just glad we won the title before we became BLMU

I was friends for years with a guy on another sport's message board. The board went bust about 7 or 8 years ago but I had his email address. I emailed him every time Clemson did well and congratulated him when they won their championship. I was hoping he would reciprocate but wasn't surprised that I never heard from him after we won.
In all honesty you congratulated him when they beat other teams. If the shoe was on the other foot and Clemson beat LSU would you have still congratulated him? Not saying you wouldn't because lots would. However, lots wouldn't either.

The sad truth is that they will likely be in the playoffs every year for the foreseeable future for the simple reason that their schedule is so ridiculously weak. Lawrence will be the Heisman front runner, so we’ll get to see lots of footage of him flipping his hair and Dabo will resume his “Clemson is God’s team” BS. I don’t see us in the playoffs this year unless Brennan turns out to be Burrow 2.0, but we should make another run in 2021.

I’ve seen the opposite. I travel to Greenville for work and wear a LSU mask on flights and in public, since it’s the law.
Every person I have talked to just says “Y’all kicker our arse. Unbelievable team.” All seem complimentary and realize they just ran into a buzz saw. Granted the people I have met and talked to are probably a little nicer class than the hillbillies that would really take a sticker off a car.

Have lived in SC for 20 years. When they beat us in the Peach Bowl, even my Preacher ragged my family.

Leading up to the Natty, they were fairly mouthy.

After the game, not a single congratulatory remark. As USCe fans told me on my arrival....Taters are the worst.

So I bought a new LSU Natty flag and put it up on the front porch. I know it tears them up.

My situation is a little different. My aunt, uncle and cousins are from Clemson. My cousins are Clemson grads. They have been very complimentary of LSU. My aunt is from BR, so they are Clemson fans first, LSU fans second. Always have been, always will be.

At the start of the 4th quarter, my oldest cousin texted me saying, y’all are going to win, we can’t stop Burrow and that offense. Nobody can.

I'm not saying all of my experiences with Clemson fans post the arse whooping have been all bad. The thing is, some will say complimentary things to my face, but then they go and pull this shite when I'm not looking. They sometimes say the right things, but deep down they are f'n miserable over this no matter what they tell themselves! Talk about a humbling experience for those folks

Clemson board today with Supa-Hot takes:

That program is becoming fascinating to me. Won a national championship with arguably the greatest season ever and then just fell apart. 14 starters drafted, one projected starter transferring, another kicked off the team, OC leaves, DC leaves, head coach gets divorced and limited practices before the season (if we even have one) for the new OC, DC and new starters to gel. Will be fascinating to see what that team looks like in 2020.

I hope we play the season for a lot of reasons, one of which is to see LSU squander in mediocrity and end the season not even ranked. That arrogant fan base needs some humble pie.

They know they got everything handed to them on a platter last season, and it’s not gonna be that easy from now on.

Clemson plays in the softest P5 conference of all, and a Clemson fan thinks LSU, who played and beat 7 top ten teams during the season, beat all 4 of the preseason top 4, and beat 5 of the final top 8 teams, was handed everything on a platter. That is just a bizarre take. Lots of butt hurt there.

Sadly, but kinda funny, we were in Destin when Coach O was down there and another LSU Fan stole our LSU and Marietta magnets. They actually put them on their own car that was parked 20 yards from ours.

I know they were ours because my Son put his number in the LSU magnet and my Daughter our jets on the Marietta one. The chances that these people had the same magnets written in the same colored sharpies with the same numbers was a bit much, so I took them back.

People are crazy.

Clemson students decided to show their school spirit by painting orange tiger paws every mile on I-85 all the way to New Orleans for the national championship game. However, they miscalculated the amount of orange paint they would need and ran out just outside Charlotte, NC.
