This ball flat out dropped over the pole and very likely still in fair terrority behind it.

does foul territory also rise 6 feet up into the air where the guy who caught it is standing?

It would hit the ground behind the SEC logo in your example

day drinking huh? ball flies over pole, all the lsu fans to right are celebrating. ULL Outfielder is essentially leaning over wall looking behind the pole at the ball .
ball falls behind pole on a still curving slighly left but heavily dropping trajectory.

I somehow just knew that despite seeing all the pics clearly and unquestionably showing this was a foul ball you would not give it up. Congrats on being yet another one of ‘those’ guys. LOL

look at the video as well as my pics. That twitter video is misleading and there's literally an arrow pointing at a black dot that's shown on every block of the pole and him saying "look its a yellow ball".

care to elaborate on these pics showing the ball in front of the pole ???
Why is there a blurred gray dot at the red arrow in pic 1, but it's not visible in the very next frame image ?

its black dots from the netting that was seen in lots of the pics in lots of places on the pole. care to elaborate how the ball turned from into a black dot then into a whiteish ball in the next frame?

feel free to follow the ball and or even follow the damn outfielder watching it behind the pole. But i'm sure you'll come back with the black dot theory from the netting.

my gif disappeared. frick it.

The ball made a shadow on the pole. You can also see the shadow in the previous frame where the ball starts to cross in front of the pole. That shadow is not there in the other frames where the ball is either approaching or moving away from the pole. Can you show an example of that not being true?

but this ball was clearly fair at 6:39
good lord, man. It was clearly foul.

The guy that caught it is 6 feet in foul territory.

And the reaction from the fans verifies that it was foul.

I hate when posters on this board are blinded by P&G glasses.

Ironically there was a very similar play in 2017 regional between same teams.. LSU got the benefit of the doubt in that case (no replay) and it was called fair

I'd say even stevens but the following year there was pathetically bad call on a play at the plate that completely changed the game
