Unlike Paul, Jay will never throw his players under the bus. But if you watch him talk this year, he has said things he's never said before. In so many words, he's telling you this team is not as talented as they thought they'd be. So they whiffed hard on evaluations. Plus injuries don't help. It is what it is. Clean it out of your mind and get ready for next season. Not sure what else you want him to say. He already said he shite the bed with the team this year.

We lost 6 pitchers to the draft.
We lost a starting pitcher.
That has a cascading affect.
Guys that normally wouldn't see the mound except for mid week games now have to pitch in sec games.
We missed on portal guys. I think Jay Johnson has a better idea of what happened than some poster on TD.
He is 1 of 2 current college baseball coaches with multiple national titles.
Think of any current college baseball coach.... Jay Johnson's trophy case shits on theirs.
