I wonder what the condition of his shoulder is...

The labrum surgery really played into how low he was drafted. He has an enourmous amount of talent. Bat speed it plus, approach is plus... arm strength is average. I see him being moved to an outfield spot his sophomore year or maybe help fill in at 3B.

Well what the hell? I thought he was the stud catcher that we were bringing in?

I honestly haven't ever seen him catch. Every time I saw him over the past two years he was playing 3B or SS. It is a solid arm, especially at the HS ranks, but I wouldn't say it was a plus arm at the college level.

Perfect game graded him as having plus arm strength. Hopefully that comes back to him.

Can you translate that from italian?

No, but he is good people like Mr. Webre. No worries though, Willis is testing out a new strep throat vaccine. He should not be missing any post season play.

Apparently they need to focus more on their child's health, so he doesn't miss out on any more post season play.

All BS aside I wish Webre was still on the team.

Gotta have the chest.
I'm not sure where he would have played next season. He apparently wasn't willing to wait till his junior year to get a shot.

Per the MLB Draft Tracker:
MLB Draft Tracker
quote:
One of the top prospects in Louisiana and an LSU commit, Willis was a 2018 Rawlings-Perfect Game Second Team All-American. The left-handed-hitting catcher is a talented hitter, strong, with power and a good swing. Willis has average hands and an average arm, so there is some question if he'll be able to stay a catcher in the pros. There's also some injury concern, as Willis had a labrum scope that limited him to designated hitter duties.
