He’s a good player with a great athletic profile to bet on but has had some issues staying healthy and wasn’t a game breaker for us, although I think was a boost our offense needed when he was in there to not allow too much coverage elsewhere and feasted on comeback and out routes.

He’s rolling the dice a bit going to Miami before knowing who is going to be QB but guess you figure they’ll get a big fish. If he stays healthy next year NFL teams are gonna like him. Bummer he didn’t like it here but I like the Nic Anderson 1 to 1 replacement where more or less the same can be said as above about

Idk why some of y’all are so upset. He’s saying that the locker room isn’t very close and that players charge other players for tickets. It’s not like he’s out here totally trashing LSU. If you don’t like what he’s saying you should probably be more mad at the guys that are currently in the LSU locker room.

Well you transferred from both, so your point?

No hard feelings for him, but what do you expect with NIL and P4 teams. There is going to be a big disparity in what players are making and "team" is less important than bank rolls.

CFB is now "NFL light" without a salary cap.

What lsu replaced him with is a win for lsu
That’s the peril of the portal
Guys coming in at a position where other players feel slighted is not gonna help any locker room
Liberty was probably close knit but you chased the $
As far as Nuss his best friends were Taylor and Campbell yet he stayed for one more year

So LSU had cliques; you mean like:

Lacy and Anderson, who were both on the team (with Nuss and Taylor) in 2023? Remove Anderson, and it's 2022?
Thomas, the other transfer guy, who was a Louisiana guy and in the SEC at State?

Daniels commenting that those guys bonded more? I do recall Lacy coming over to congrat Anderson after some big plays, clearly tight.

That's something you have to build and earn.

You are completely missing the point. His own teammates were not only charging him for the tickets that they weren't going to use, but they were price gouging him. They got them for free, and can't sell them on an open market. Ok, he got NIL, but he said he paid what they were asking. As he said, it's the principal.

The guys coming in, better or worse in talent and performance, may very well get the same treatment. It will be very hard to navigate an SEC schedule with that kind of division.

No, it doesn’t

But he left 2 schools for the opportunity to make more money directly from that school and indirectly at the next level

And he passes judgement on a peer for taking advantage of an opportunity to make more money

Nothing personal against him, but his social media messages say more about him than anybody else

Well, of course having mercenaries is not ideal for team chemistry, but look at what you’re dealing with here

This isn’t Skenes and Crews donating their NIL to worthy charities. LOL

In the NIL age, you think this isn’t the case everywhere? You have a first year guy who is paid 6 figures to come in and start over guys that have been in the locker room for 1-3 years. That’s a very uncomfortable dynamic and one that college players(young guys who are catered to)probably won’t navigate very well. He was the new guy, didn’t feel comfortable, and now he wants to place blame on something for underperforming.

Also other players charged other players for tickets if they had extra for a game
students are doing this all over...no one wants to give another a ticket below market value and then have that ticket sell on StubHub at some elevated price...

The clique thing does suck...that is lack of leadership on the team...hopefully BK addresses it.

So, it ain’t all about the money, it’s about the fact that he had to pay. LOL

Look, I get what you’re saying, but this ain’t about teamwork and tradition anymore, it’s a business, their profession

This guy taking FULL advantage of it, yet passing judgement on guys that likely had/have less opportnity than him to do so

We paid Daniels $300K for last season, were not willing to pay him another $300K for next season. He didn’t want to take a paycut and walked. No surprise he is a bit upset, but tough shite.
