Did you have bad experience? I'm just curious. I don't disagree about its locale, but on gameday, during the day, it seems that its not all that bad.

We ended up with a pretty decent showing, all things considered. The announced attendance was around 46k, and probably just under half were LSU fans. I'd say we had between 15 and 20 k there. Less than the last two Citrus bowls and maybe even slightly outnumbered but better than what I thought it was going to be considering the low ticket sales.

The game was awesome and they dumped a shite ton of money into the stadium upgrade. Good showing for LSU fans compared to the Iowa and Penn St citrus bowls and the Iowa outback. And we smoked Louisville's arse.

You guys missed a great time. I remember years ago when LSU fans would dream of playing a bowl game in Florida. So much to do in Orlando. The weather was great, and the stadium was renovated since LSU's last visit against Penn St. Seems like some of you are good for only the Sugar, Independence, Texas, or Cotton.
Very true.

I as many of you are Louisiana people and take offense to comments made about Coach O. He is the Head Coach at LSU and should have all our support! He is a Cajun like many of us and any offense to him is an offense to all of us!!!

I think there were at least 40 new entrepreneurs in the parking bidness around that stadium.

True, and the t-shirt/souvenir business as well, but I didn't feel too unsafe. Just avoid them. Park where you are supposed to and stay with the crowd.

Well, the bowl game is in Orlando! Not much difference in mileage but shows your reasoning is skewed.

AMEN! There are some on here that think their qualifications about who is upset with Coach O's hiring is gospel. One above talks about his friends that are season ticket holders as if all of that group is upset. The should give up their tickets and follow the Longhorns as their sig suggests.

the stadium is fine and a lot better then it was last time we were there. Who cares if it's in a bad spot you don't have to stay anywhere near the stadium

We didn't have any problems with the neighborhood, nor did we have a problem getting parked or getting out. Getting out was a breeze with only 46K fans compared to 100K fans in Baton Rouge.

The Stadium is very nice and we would go back if LSU played here again. We had a great time in Orlando expect for the traffic.

I enjoyed the lone overweight Male palm palm high school cheerleader cheering with a 1000 of his female friends during halftime

LSU has taken the view that there simply aren't many head coaches out there right now worth top dollar so they focused on building a top staff.

If you are right bout "LSU", then Lord help us.

While a staff is important, it's the HC who directs a program and not a "staff".

Is Bama successful cause of the HC's staff? Is Clemson? Is Michigan? Is Oklahoma? Is Ohio St?

The last 4 major sports hires made by this LSU leadership have been at lease questionable to down right failures. I cant really blame anyone for saying, "what the shite is going on".

Tom Herman's nuts you might be able to see that he has accomplished nothing worthy of being considered a top flight coach.

While I agree TH has a lot yet to prove, his teams did beat Louisville twice, Fla. St., and this years Sugar Bowl champs. Not bad with the Houston talent.

We had a great time in Orlando - I grew up there- graduated from Edgewater high school. The improvements to the Citrus Bowl were very nice. There were definitely more LSU fans than Louisville fans. We would definitely go back the next time LSU plays there.

Orlando traffic was worse than when I lived there. Didn't think it was possible. I-4 is a cluster but they are doing construction.

The weather was great too. I got sunburned at the game.

Stadium was fine, and just cus there are black people, doesn't make it the ghetto. Have you guys ever been to fricking baton rouge or New Orleans?

All I heard was, oh don't stay there, it's ghetto. Well the whole state of LA is a fricking ghetto then.

There was two of them. The one you refer to was right at 50 yd line when they started. The other male, not as husky, was at about the 25 yard line. Both having a great time!!! LOL
