Peterson by a million. While a great offensive coach, Chip doesn’t have the personality to recruit well enough to be successful in the SEC.

Petersen is known for not really liking the spotlight and a big media profile. He did really well in Boise, a small place, and Seattle, where no one cares about CFB. He grew up in northern California and has absolutely no southern ties at all. If we're talking SEC-type coaches he's one of the last people I'd think of.

Peterson.
I don’t know how well he’d fit in here but I just love the idea of a no-nonsense technician as a head coach who will keep his mouth shut and do the work instead of a caricature.

This is the type of thinking that got us Ed Orgeron.
Peterson can coach. And he’s not stupid, he knows what LSU and the SEC are all about.
If he shows even the slightest interest, he’s a guy you take a long serious look at.

What is an “SEC-type coach?”

Neither…Napier IF a change is made. Napier is the perfect fit.

Napier is a good coach, but I worry about the Tom Hermann factor.

Peterson over Chip. Brian Kelly, PJ Fleck, or Dave Aranda over Chip.
Although I do think CK is a funny motherfricker at times

Did BR develop a world class healthcare facility to treat his kid’s cancer recently? The delusion of SEC fans and Chris Peterson is astonishing.

some vague intangible quality that a lot of fans are always saying needs to be considered. The guy I was responding to mentioned not having the "personality to recruit in the sec." To the extent there is such a thing I don't really think Petersen is the type.

BS.
I don’t care about “personality” anymore. What we need is an Xs and Os guy.
