he's going to a different ballgame in the NFL, and he was burnt in college a good bit for being elite

i agree other than lack of speed, he's a great, great CB. he needed to run well

Great bump and run corners don't run at the speed of the reciever, but make the reciever run at a much slower speed.

A slower corner can handle a faster reciever easy as long as he has good technique. With the right technique, the faster reciever can never get "up to speed." Its all about position.

Speed at the corner allows for corners to get back into position when they make a mistake.

there is a reason OSU attacked chevis deep early and often. and they didn't exactly have speedy WRs

jackson ran the same 40 as super mario

highsmith was 0.4 slower than super mario and 0.35 slower than mike hart. he ran a 5.00 dude

its called football speed. and these guys have lots of it.. we are talking a tenth of a second.. good fundementals make up for that
