Not if he was arrested and charged with a violent crime. Not maintaining a values system will lead us to the exact same problems that led to Florida's downfall. A ton of talent and not any discipline.

Pretty sure Brad Wing has the same misdemeanor charge against him that Jefferson does. So, I guess we should kick him off the team.

It is apparent many people here don't understand the legal system as well as other, less complicated things.

do you really think the threat of JJ runing doesnt give us a +1 blocking scheme where we have an advantage? Do you not see the Zone-read we run? The speed option? The bootlegs?

You made the argument that we needed JJ to beat Bama. If you made that argument, then you were indeed implying that JL could not have gotten over his two interceptions or the RBs wouldn't have bailed him out. Otherwise, we wouldn't have "needed" JJ to beat Bama.

Yes, I could see the future.

Hopefully the game will be built around some type of option scheme, and not trying to make JJ a pocket passer.

I think that's a given. It's our only shot, and it gives us a damn good one. Keep JJ's feet moving!

Explain.
On the options and zone reads, he nullifies a defender.

Just being in the game helps LSU run the ball. Defenders have to respect the threat that Jefferson might run. Defenders have to respect the real possibility of a bootleg or reverse.

Must be the special way he hands off the ball to the rb's that Jlee cant duplicate??????

Or maybe Just Me is referring to the negative 5 rushing yards JJ amassed?

Just admit you hate Miles so we can move on.

It must really upset a certain segment of LSU "fan" that a coach they think is dumb is on the cusp of finishing one of the greatest college football seasons in history using the services of two quarterbacks that have both been vilified at some (more than one) point in their careers. Must really be tough for them right now.

1. You know I meant last week.
2. He probably won't considering its Bama and Les has five weeks to prepare.

I don't believe JJ has ever played four quarters of "good" football while being a Tiger.

To the wing comments: was wing ever actually convicted or were the charges dropped?

Do you know his overall record?

Go look it up.

He lost 17 yards on one sack, that hurt. He's still right about Jefferson forcing defenses to account for him. If not, he could run 40+ yards for a touchdown.

Has Jefferson been convicted?

And to answer your question, I'm not certain. I only said I was 'pretty sure" he was charged with the same crime.

Ok I will throw out the negative 17 yard sack.
Maybe Just Me was referring to the 12 yards rushing JJ amassed!

How many defenders did he nullify by throwing for 30 yards or do those count?

In some games, "just being in the game" isn't enough. Miles needs to stop trying to feature JJ in the pocket and move him around. There are times it's possible someone else may be necessary.

Your hatred is blinding you again.

Actually, it IS the special way Jefferson gives the ball the RB's that Jlee can't duplicate. It's called an option pitch and a zone read.

Your description could be a little more accurate.. Jefferson lost 23 yards on sacks. That sucked. However, Jefferson also ran the option to near perfection. Moreover, he gained 18 yards rushing the ball.
