Lsu was 4-5 in sec game 3 matchups

One of those was when you still had Edwards and he went huge.

Another involved a 3-run PH homer in the 9th.

It's clear lsu is going to have trouble closing out a regional playing straight up. My solution is pitch Coleman game 1 unless you get screwed with a good #4 and then let Skenes and Floyd go game 2 and 3.

It's gonna be much more difficult for LSU to win its regional rather than a super regional. They have to win three games in a regional. As evidence by today, I don't know if this team has the pitching to do that. Unless they hit a 2nd stride and hitting comes back alive to where it was a month ago, they will struggle to put together 3 wins.

All they have to do is win 2 in a super regional and that's much more attainable.

I'm not saying that it is a black and white answer. But if you put a gun to my head and said I had to pick one or die I'd say that they won't make it out of their regional.

So, they were more or less 50% against third starters in only the third game of the weekend. They only need to win 1 of 2 against 4th and 5th starters in the fourth or fifth game of the weekend for the bullpen.
