My faith teaches me to love one another. So, yes, in that regard, I Love Les.

Practically speaking, I don't personally know the guy. But I like what I see and think he is a more than a fine coach and very decent human being.

Also, I just can't reason out how the 'complete-failure-dumb-arse' that some folks presume him to be could accomplish as much as Les has.

GEAUX LES!

There are many things you can bitch about with Les, but is winning % is not one of them. The SEC especially the west is incredible...no bad teams. This is unusual to say the least. Somebody actually named the top 5 programs in the SEC other than LSU and seemed to be upset because Les was 60% plus against those teams since 2005. Obviously, he didn't even bother to look it up. This type thinking, indicates a young fan.

I'm good with Les and this year isn't over but could be bad, or good, or ok.

I have. We had a different QB against our "real opponents" than the one who is starting Saturday. We were attempting to play to what we believed our strengths would be (O-line; going right at the defense). Things change and unexpected things arise. Now we've made changes to do what we believe will give us the best chance to win as it relates to the QB position.

But I'm sure you know with 100% certainty that if we would have played Harris from snap 1, we'd have beaten Wisconsin and State by a combined 150 pts, no?

I think he is A great coach that is kinda goofy.

He makes a few bad choices, but so do most coaches. He has also made some really gritty calls that have won games for us. I hope he stays here until he retires.

lol, I'm with you. You can't not like him and can't argue with his overall success but every year can't help but feel "but if only..."

I neither love him nor hate him.
I think he does some good things and some really stupid things.

he is a $4MM / year employee not a GOD, and should be held accountable....like anyone else in their job

Defending him against stupid, narrow-sighted dolts =/= believing him to be infallible. Of course he should be held accountable for his actions.

However, like literally every coach in the history of sports, he makes mistakes and isn't perfect. I just wish that before people would fly off the handle and label him as a bumbling buffoon that constantly gets in his own way, they would take a look around the country and realize that every coach fricks up from time to time throughout a given season. Even the demi-God over in T-Town has and will continue to make egregious mistakes that cost his team games. Perspective is a nice thing to have. We're lucky as shite to have Les.
