Two seasons with the Honey Badger made Chavis appear more valuable than he really was. Other than any remain to be seen negative recruiting impact, this will be an upgrade going forward...

I can easily agree with all of your logic except:
He didn't leave TN, as I recall he got caught without a job after Phat Phil got the ax.
Otherwise, your post make a good argument, which begs the question: what is it doing on TD?
