The QBs are going to assume leadership roles on the team

RP and JJ both hurt this program with their off the field troubles and over the long haul we would have been better served if neither one of them ever played a snap at LSU

It looks like the damage is finally done with those 2. Let's hope that Mett doesn't get into any more trouble.

Talent matters more.

guys like Andrew Luck and RGIII don't grow on trees. That's why they're special.

After watching JJ and Aaron Brooks play QB, I'm convinced that having a brain is the most important thing.

Talent is secondary.

Matt Mauck and Matt Flynn disagree with this statement. Both of these guys had other QBs that played ahead of them that by all accounts had more physical talent. Both of these guys also have a national championship ring whereas their more physically gifted counterparts do not.

Obviously race is the most important thing.

Hurts even more when seeing RGIII being asked who he was rooting for in the NCG and he said "LSU. Go Tigers. Would have love to have gone there, but they wanted Jordan Jefferson....."

RP was fine on the field.

JJ lacked character on the field and off the field. That was the major problem. Not to mention he just wasnt very talented, either.

I don't think race has anything to do with it but I DO think we need to stop recruiting QBs from Texas. They obviously are terrible!

I can only imagine the horrible character flaws that Lee has, and are hidden to the fans and players, but only known to Miles. Evidentally, Miles thought they were much worse than anything that RP or JJ had, based on the way he treated Lee.

Bringing Mett to LSU concerned me. I was worried he would get in trouble again. I do believe in second chances, but I am not a fan of guys who put their hands on women without their permission. That said he is a tiger and if he gets his act together he has a chance at redemption.

Flynn and Lee are both from Texas

Flynn brought us a national championship and Lee almost brought us one this year

RS was never given a fair shake at QB IMO

GTFO. No, that's not the case.

Not taking away from MF, but if you don't recall, JR and MF lost the name number of games in 06 and 07. JR lost to much better teams in Auburn and UF. We got lucky as hell in 07 like Bama did this year.
