I will bet you at even money and take LSU every game. And every game next year as well, and the year after and the year after that.

I would have to assume that Fresno's chances were 0.0 that one year.

Clearly it's 1/64 = 1.5625% * 4 (national seed multiplier) = 6.25% * (19-8) (Deichmann HRs - years since last natty) = 68.75%. In summary they definitely have a 68.75% chance of winning it all.

Shouldn't it be a multiplier of 5? Should be a reverse scale.

1=8
2=7
3=6
4=5

Etc... Otherwise, the 8 seed has the highest multiplier. We goin to the ship, baws.

It's ridiculously hard to win this tournament. Luck, skill, hot at the right time, a few calls our way,team playing consistently. Basically, everything has to go right. Other teams are legit. One good pitcher can send us packing with the quickness. I'd say we have a 10% chance to win it all.

LSU is +725 to win it all.

So yeah basically the same odds they had preseason. LSU and TCU were odds on favorites at +700

I think the real key to victory will be scoring more points than our opponents in each game

If they can do that, they've got an 80% shot against any team in the country. That's damned close to a lock.

No team is better than LSU over the last 17 or 18 games considering the schedule.

This team is as good or better than anyone right now

Ill take a stab... If we play the regional 100 times, LSU wins 85, Rice 10, Southeastern 5. Reason I like rice over SLU is their pitching and Wayne Graham. I don't think a Southland team has ever won a regional

Your link, Boyds World, had Coastal Carolina with a 0.2% chance of winning the CWS last year, so there's that.
