I was told by an FSU GA 3 years ago Jimbo told him LSU was his dream job. At this point O would have to massively fail this season and BoS/TAF would have to rob 2 Brinks trucks to get him. Woodard would have to do a serious sales job.

WTF is wrong with you?
A random FSU fan voices his stupid opinion and this leads to this dumbass post. Did the Holy Mother of Jesus appear in an apparition to impart this information?
Did the FSU fan see an image of the Lord in a Dorito with the message?

Stupid post IMHO., The only time he ever won as a HC he had an elite QB. He left Flst in shite hole mess. He is going to ruin TAM watch.

Not so fast, my friend. Think about when payment for the respective outcomes would come due. If Jimbo ever did become LSU head coach the bet would be due immediately, but if not, it would be due upon his death. That's likely decades away which gives plenty of time for said bet to be forgotten or otherwise wiggled out of. It's actually a pretty clever bet.

I think there are a few boosters and fans (and maybe an AD) who would hire Jimbo today if they could! But Orgeron is screwing up their plans by bringing in killer recruiting classes, and finishing #6 in the final AP poll (and with the '19 team looking even better!)

Orgeron certainly isn't the best coach in the country, maybe not even top 20

Why don't we want a top 20 coach in the country?

Even Saban/Miles couldn't pull the classes he is pulling while at LSU.

Is this sarcasm?

Miles's average recruiting ranking was 6.5. Without looking I'm betting 2 other programs were better in that time period.

Wait, you're trolling. That's gotta be it. There's no way you could just ignore facts that are easily verifiable. This is how threads get thrown off the rails, when people blatantly make shite up.

He couldn’t beat Dabo once he got established

Established, or simply had a better team? Dabo had been at Clemson for 5 years and already won an ACC title when he got punked at home by FSU 51-14.

he BARELY BEAT a shitty Gus Malzahn team for his one and only title

The horror! Only here could beating the SEC champs for a national title be considered a negative.

Aggie Paid 75 Mill and got 1 more win than Sumlins last year

Oh, so we're back to judging coaches based on one season. Funny this standard wasn't allowed to be applied to our own coach in his first year.

Who says we don't want a top 20 coach. I certainly didn't.

We have what we have and he's doing a great job. If you're desperate to have a top 20 coach, then start buying crimson gear. You'd fit right in with those bandwagon cucks.
