I'm not sure why people think Jimbo is the only coach Woodward can hire. If woody does have to replace O, and I hope he doesn't at least not for a while, best believe it will be a national search with several high profile candidates.

There is no buyout and even Aggie insiders know that if LSU has an opening, Jimbo will come. It’s not exactly a secret.
Having said that, I hope Orgeron wins championships here and retires here. I know he too loves LSU and this is his dream job.

I’m not a huge Coach O guy, but I support the current coach. This kind of thread is so disrespectful to him.
We have a coach that is not on the hot seat and we are making threads about his replacement.
At least change the thread title to something less annoying like “just talked to a FSU fan”.

So many people lack perspective. Think of the empires that have come and gone in CFB in the past 20 years (USC, FSU, Miami, etc) and LSU is still a major name and O has done NOTHING to hurt that. I would argue that LSU name is at an all time high, 2.5 years into O's leadership. Even Saban/Miles couldn't pull the classes he is pulling while at LSU. I think if Florida doesn't screw us a few years back with the rescheduling, we win that game and you can't put the TAMU game last year solely on O. People forget that it took a major fluke for LSU to even win a title under Miles (playing with 2 losses isn the title game).
