Chance to go to Florida game...

Friend says tickets are for sale for 70-80 bucks...it's about a 10 hour drive to Gainesville. Worth it to get treated like shite in and experience the Swamp?

Hell no.
I said this before, I'd perform brain surgery on myself before I go back there. Screw that place.
The drive is long and when you get there it just gets worse.

If you've never been, I'd definitely say its worth it. I'd say The Swamp in the closest stadium in terms of noise level to Death Valley. Its built to keep the noise in. I remember my ears were ringing pretty bad after our win there in 2010.

I had a great a great time at The Swamp and the drive is not as bad as people make it out to be. Worth going at least once.

My wife wants to go to the UL-Lafayette game in the swamp for her Birthday. I hope we stomp them good so I can wear my P&G and Troll the hell out of both fan bases...

Few things in life are more fun than a win in the Swamp with LSU fans doing the chomp to the Gator fans as they stream out for the exits. Of course a loss makes for a long drive back home. I've never had much trouble with their fans but if you go be sure you have a go cup for your drink; the cops will bust any LSU fans with a can or bottle of beer.

If you've never been its definitely worth it. Don't listen to the pansies around here. Go down there, drink, tailgate, wear your LSU gear. Just don't be a disrespectful douchebag to the Florida fans or cops & you'll be fine. Just make sure you don't walk around Saturday w/ drink in hand (keep it at your tailgate).
When did we become such pussys? "i'll never go back to Gainseville!!!!" You realize every other SEC fanbase says the same exact thing about BR? Every fanbases has their assholes, some more than others. But in general, if you're not looking for trouble in Gainseville you won't find it.

I was extremely excited at first...then the money issue kinda brought me back down...and now I'm getting excited again. frick it, let's do it!
ETA: Tiger fans that will be there - since we will be sporting our purple and gold, I assume we are allowed to walk up to any tailgate and hang out with fellow Tigers right?
