After the committee saw us playing head to head with one of the best teams in America in 17-inning game.

Now root for Ole Miss to beat A&M today. If that happens, no matter how the result of LSU vs. Auburn game will be, we still get to host. Book it.

We aren't hosting a regional. Just hope we somehow learn how to play on the road. We blew our chances against auburn and State. Beating auburn tomorrow is going to take a miracle, and even if we win it won't move the needle. And then there literally will be no one to throw against vandy or state on friday

I hope so. Unfortunately a close loss doesn't reflect in RPI how it should.

Yeah they don’t care. And I seriously doubt they watch every game of college baseball.

We beat Auburn and A&M loses tomorrow, then we’re hosting

Baseball doesn’t have an eye test. We had it in the bag and blew it. Yes, we still have a chance but nothing is “booked”

We have to win tomorrow. We need another win to host. Might need some help as well.

We need two more wins to host, which isn't happening. Wins over auburn and South Carolina aren't moving the needle

We win tomorrow, we're in a good shot. I'd rather face Auburn than Vanderbilt.

We're right there as far as hosting a regional is concerned.

Yes, the committee loves moral victories.

I doubt very seriously the committee was still up at 3 a.m. watching this game. It’s not about style points. Did you win? No. Then you better win today or pack your bags for a regional trip.

I don’t think baseball is as much “eye test” as other sports

Too many midweek losses are biting us in the arse. I think we need at least 2 more wins and make the Semifinals. This isn't hand granades. Close losses are still a loss. RPI is 21 now.

4-5 the last three series with a series loss at home ended any thought of that a week ago. They are a 2 in some regional. Probably UCLA so that freaking traitor can go root for them.

I hope we host. But you are delusional to suggest losing a 17 inning game helps us.

It may not hurt. But it doesn’t help.
