When these 2 were on the field together you KNEW nothing was getting by them (Peterson was a freshman). I remember being sooo confident. If K.F. & Greedy play anything like them, I would expect some big things Did the line move yet ??

I expect the Playoffs now. Defense will keep us close to everyone we play. And if the offense isn’t predictable, i see no reason why our WRs talent won’t produce.

This would make more sense with Claiborne instead of Jones.

Jones was a strong safety, not a corner, nor was he a lock down defensive back in coverage. This would have made more sense if you had said Peterson and Claiborne in 2010. In Peterson's freshman season (2008), the one referenced in your OP, we didn't exactly have a great pass defense. We gave up 215 passing yards a game and only had 8 INTs on the season. Honestly, our pass defense was below average in 2008. About every decent team we played in 2008 did whatever they wanted on offense.

Since you mention it, three of those four are not in the same class with the other. Patrick Peterson was probably the best player in LSU history. I don’t say most impactful, because that will go to a QB or RB, but he was the best.

Chad Jones was a third round draft choice. PP7 was picked about sixth overall, and I thought he was picked too low. Greedy is a hell of a CB, but Julio Jones would have abused him. PP7 overmatched Julio.

And Fulton? I agree with your point. We don’t know yet. But I’d bet my bottom dollar he won’t measure up to PP7, who is the one and only of those four who will be memorialized in Canton.

215 passing yards a game? That's really good, huh?

or a honey badger. have never seen any player capable of singlehandedly turning a game around the way he could.

Greedy, Fulton, and Delpit will make up the best coverage trio in the country this year.

I remember when people on the rant originally tried to call him “little ball of hate.”
