The ground attack ripped through WKU for 253 yards – averaging over nine yards per carry – a week after bothering Mississippi State for over seven yards per pop.

It was against the Ole Miss offense designed by offensive coordinator Rich Rodriguez – it’s able to crank out big yards in chunks from time to time – and LSU couldn’t handle it. QB John Rhys Plumlee and company ran for over 400 yards with four scores in the wild shootout.

What’s Going To Happen

The LSU defense that’s been getting hit hard and criticized over the last few weeks is about to show the world that it really isn’t all that bad.

LSU vs. Arkansas fearless prediction and game preview.

Agree with this. I think the D takes this game seriously from start to finish. Kind of feel bad for Arkansas...Kidding of course

I do feel bad for their players. Not their fans.

I agree with the 51 for LSU, but Arky will score more than 10. Our defense sucks. At least right now it does.

Arkansas has a very good RB in Rakeem Boyd. Problem is, he is not a cut back RB...runs more like Fournette or TDP does. Which the exact type of runner our D is geared towards. He has good straight line speed but is more of a bruiser until he hits the second level. Their passing game is worse than Ole Miss'.

Holding Hogs to 10 proving our defense isn't all that bad?? Our defense has turned into an AT&T commercial!

What’s bad is if that score held up they would not cover.

I'm going to be concerned if the D doesn't have a good showing this weekend. There are all the right makings: being disrespected nationally, a weak opponent in Akry, and first home game in a month.

As long as we completely annihilate aTm and embarrass them, humiliate them, degrade them and utterly destroy them. I god damn hate aTm and I want LSU to punish them.

You took LSU to cover the spread? I guess that is why they call it gambling

Need to do better than that. Vegas spread is larger than that... 44 to 46 pts are numbers I have seen this week.

No, did I say that? But you can't call it a "fearless prediction" if Vegas is betting the money/public thinks it will be a bigger win margin.

I have visions of the Vandy RB just flat out running over our guys again.

So, that's what this guy will do?
