I have a hard time believing we lose to Miss State. I just don't see them being able to score that many points.

I don't see how A&M finishes 3rd in the West with its schedule.

I think they lost A LOT on defense. And the QB that carried them the last two seasons is gone.

If we lose to state this year I’ll be shocked as hell. No way that happens

Another loss to Bama, no SECW title, no SECCG, no SEC title, no playoff? Thrilling.

In all seriousness, that may be an upgrade for them this year

We're not losing to State two years in a row.

It lasted a lot longer than I expected. They usually are gone within a few minutes.

I agree. They are going to miss Sweat and Simmons. Those two were monsters.

I think Auburn will be a tough game and of course Bama. I think we win vs UF and A&M. We owe them a beat down.

A lot of people are picking State in that game; I just don't see it.

I think they must see it as a bit of a trap game. Not that State will be bad this year but it will be right after FL, who will probably be undefeated when we meet up.

Because of where it falls on the schedule. Florida might be 6-0 top 5 coming in to TS the week before State. Trap game scenario in shitville.

10-2 is a safe prediction but it’s like they said Bama is a loss then picked a random game out of a hat for the other one

This seems like a situation where they predetermined LSU would finish 10-2, but are "all in" on LSU beating Texas, Therefor, they had to find a loss somewhere and because all of LSU's other tough opponents (excluding Bama) are coming to BR, MSU was the "toughest" of the other 3 road games.

State did almost nothing against LSU on offense last year outside of Fitzgerald running the football. Now, without that aspect of the offense AND the significant losses on defense (3 1st rounders), MSU is somehow better? Sure, Fitzgerald was a bad passer. But how do we know either of the potential QB's this year are THAT much better? Plus, State is not Alabama. They don't just reload 1st round talent every year.

Obviously predictions are meaningless. But if you are going to do one at least use logic. MSU may very well win, but I don't see any logical reason right now why one would favor them.
