LSU scores 50+. I’m going with 52.
I'll run naked on the Field if they hang 50+ on UF

Over hyped? And what defense have we faced this year?
UF’s defense isn’t any more “over-hyped” than LSU’s defense was in 2010 when Scam ran roughshod over it. Sometimes an offense is just that much better, or you have a player in the right system and things just come together. Remember Rohan and Reed? No defense outside the NFL could even slow them down.
I think that’s what we will see on Saturday.

I think the potential for dominant performance by the defense is there and all the ingredients for such a performance coming this week are lining up

Do you really see LSU only scoring 5 more points than UK?
ETA: Miami also scored 20
I think we score more than 21 but the comparison on one team scoring so we should score is kinda dumb. This game obv means more and has alot more emotions to it...all teams match up differently

You're an alter - but brought from the Rant:
Florida ranks #2 nationally in team sacks (26)
(4.33 per game)
21 of 26 sacks were against:
- Towson (4)
- UT Martin (5)
- Miami (10)
- Tennessee’s backups (2)
Miami ranks #126 of 130 in sacks allowed.
Virginia Tech had 7 sacks vs Miami (10 on the year)
Florida leads the nation in interceptions (12)
Let’s break that down:
- Bo Nix: 3 interceptions (true freshmen)
- Sawyer Smith: 3 interceptions (UK backup)
- Jarrett Guarantano: 2 interceptions (bad)
- Tom Flacco: 2 interceptions (Towson)
- John Bachus: 1 interception (UTM, freshmen)
- Brian Mauer: 1 interception (UT backup)
LSU might not be playing world beaters, but LSU isn't feasting solely on FCS teams, backups, and true freshmen.

While we all would like to see this, but it is just is not realistic. If we can get over 30pts then it should be enough to secure the victory. If we can get 40pts against UF, then Bama is in trouble.

Florida D has feasted on garbage offenses.

if we can run screens to back off their pass rush we will gouge them. i do not see them scoring over 21 to 24. i cannot see us scoring less than 35 regardless of any mistakes.
On the flip side of this, if they blitz anyone from the secondary, Joe is going to absolutely pick apart this defense.
As for Florida's defense, I really don't think we can tell how good they actually are. Auburn has one of the worst and most one-dimensional offenses I've ever seen.

My take is this UF team resembles 2017 Miami. They live off of the turnover (currently 3.2 TOs per game- tied for 2nd in CFB). They are a high risk, high reward D. They will gamble with pressure and jumping routes so we have to make them pay.
Offensively Trask is a game manager who won't win them games. He won't stretch the D, but he will hit short routes with good accuracy. Rattle him and he'll break. They have an above average run game and Perine is a solid back. Shut him down and make Trask beat you.
Protect the ball, defend the edge rush, put the ball downfield and we walk away with a W.

Yes we did.
Also, all the sky screamers chicken-littles that were calling for Aranda’s head earlier never seemed to acknowledge the fact that LSU had a metric frick ton of injuries to starters. LSU is almost fully healthy now.
Have an upvote.
