No, I hate most of the teams in the SEC.

Vanderbilt? Every time.
South Carolina and Ole Miss? Yes.
Kentucky, Mississippi State? Yup.
Arkansas? Missouri? Depends.
The rest? Never. Not happening.

I pull for no one outside of LSU.
I’ll cheer for someone to lose. Like Alabama, but I will not actively cheer for the success of our competitors, not a chance.

It's tough, but in the end I pull for them as I want it to be recognized, WITHOUT a doubt, that the best teams reside in the SEC and SOS counts. I hope our teams pummel their opponents....make it look like they did not belong. We WILL find ourselves in a similar situation with 2 or 3 losses one season, looking to make the CFPs. I want the voters to KNOW there is a difference. IMO that is why LK has done a good job making this point known. He sees it not only for this season, but the out years.

My preference:
1. Boise — why not?
2. SMU — after the death penalty, it would be a cool story
3. Indiana — Cignetti is arrogant, but good for the game
4. ASU — I believe they were projected to finish last in the Big 12. Cool story
5. Clemson — I like Dabo’s approach to NIL. It isn’t realistic, but he’s sticking to it.
6. Notre Dame — I like Marcus Freeman and their QB seems like a good kid
7. Oregon — Not a fan of Nike and their schtick, but Lanning can coach.
8. Tennessee — I’ve had more problems in Knoxville than most. East Tennessee folks are different. Borderline West Virginiaish. They’re insufferable.
9. Ohio State —I really don’t like them. I respect the program, but don’t care for them.
10. Texas — Way too entitled.
11. Georgia — The way Kirby runs his “program” would have them dead last but for Penn State
12. Penn State — Sandusky. Paterno.

This is the only correct answer.

Rooting for Bama, Georgia, etc. does not help LSU recruiting or the LSU athletic department. I am an LSU not an SEC fan.

Yes, of course. If you’re not in it root for your conference. The Alabama exception does not apply this year.

I just want these teams to lose.

Oregon

Ohio St

I would like to see the SEC teams win every game by 7 TD’s.

This and I root against the Tier 1 Media Darling teams as well.
Any team that was put in on name I root against.
This year I am going to root for Arizona State.

I can probably do a better list of who I'm rooting against:
1. Penn State Nittany Sanduskys - That whole city should have been razed and salt sown into the ashes after covering up child rape for decades.
2. (T) UT - Both of them. Obvious reasons.
4. ND - Always hated them mostly due to fawning media coverage.
5. Oh St - Always hated them due to fawning media coverage. But slightly tempered by Burrow.
6. Oregon - No particular animosity toward the Ducks but they do seem to be in the optimal position in the NIL era and I don't want to see that turbo-charged with a natty.
7. (T) Az St, Indiana, SMU - Completely indifferent to all three.
10. Clemson - Can't stand Dabo but I went to a couple of Clemson games during the Bowden years and enjoyed their gameday.
11. Georgia - It takes a really weird year in college football for the Bulldogs to come in this low on my root against list but here we are.
12. Boise State - I like the QB and the RB but this is mostly a default ranking. So... go Broncs?

Unless they are playing a team I hate more (Ohio State for example) I am rooting against them.

Anyone not voting for the SEC is a moron.
It's us against the world again right now.
