CEO running LSU football like a business

and like any good business, he is able to win over a large portion of the fanbase with an aggressive marketing strategy.
the problem? anyone with half a brain can see right through this charade. here are 4 simple tests to prove it:
1 - Well, I Should Hope So
Does your football coach and his special assistant trumpet things as extraordinary what your prospects take for a given. When a SEC football coach advertises "Ace Recruiter", "I will hire Top Assistants", "I will compete for championships very qickly", the prospect mentally responds "Well I should hope so. You're an SEC head coach. That's what you do." Obvious now, isn't it?
2 - What Else Is There?
For this one, I think of all the different things O has said he wants to do with the offense. He wants to run power because this is LSU. He wants to line up 4 or 5 wide. He wants to incorporate tight ends in the intermediate passing game. He wants to incorporate RPOs. Well, what else is there?
3 - Prove It
Whenever you see a platitude or cliché, just add "Prove It" and it will take on a whole new meaningless meaning.
4 - Cross Out - Write In
When your championship binder contains generalities, platitudes, and clichés, it is near to impossible to differentiate your pitch from your competitors. To prove the point, try this exercise. Take your binder, cross out your name, and write in a competitor. Still valid? If so, there's no meaningful differentiation. Try again.
TL;DR - results on the field will always be the gold standard, not Herr Pomansky finding obscure stats like 6 people scoring their first TD ever in the month of September during a low tide.

What the hell is this blabbering??
Posted on 9/11/18 at 12:53 pm to Dave England
Pretty stupid post about the head coach of a team that is 2-0 and ranked 13 and 12 in the polls after just two games.

Well, a snowball stand is a business.

Stop your obsession with all this coaching BS. If you have better players you win period. Have you ever seen Sban win anything with inferior players?

Well, you can't spell CEO without CEO.

Without even reading your post I know where this is headed.
I’m neither pro nor negative on O. It just is what it is.
But with you it’s like same shite, different day with your posts. We get it - you don’t like O or the offense. Do you just post so you hit a daily quota?

No. But you dont have to have Saban's talent to win. Coaching can make up the difference.
Any program will be hard pressed to recruit like Alabama for 7+ years straight. Its just very unlikely.
So the question is, can your coaching/scheme make up the difference?
ETA - The OP is over complicating the situation.
WIN = GOOD, LOSE = BAD

he has won the SEC West 2 times in his second year. He also won like 5 more games at LSU than the year before, and won more games at MSU and Toledo when he took over than they had won the year before.
He is grossly underrated as a coach because he is such a good recruiter. But coaching wise he is significantly bette than most coaches.
The guy was bilicheck’s DC you think he doesn’t know his Xs and Os?
