I believe the LSU defense will answer the call to take their game up to a National Championship level!

The brilliant work of CEH, IMO, can not be fully replaced with very young and relatively inexperienced RBs. These young guys will have their day in seasons to come, but CEH OWNED that position in so many significant ways.

Much more now rides on the LSU D if CEH is out.

The offense won’t miss a beat against this defense

Sorry, but you are wrong.

You don't get the intricate synch that this offense has with CEH in a couple weeks of practice. That was developed over Spring practice, Summer work, and a 13-game undefeated season.

The LSU defense is capable of filling the void.

I have been thinking that the defense will outshine the offense in the playoffs.

Nope.

CEH is a player to our hearts but there is talent he’s helped develop that’ll step up.

Yup.

Small drop off in passing game but TDP is going to get downhill & the sooners will feel it

Prob see more Moss to supplement CEH in the short game

I'm not worried in the least about the talent level. It is the timing and synchronizing that CEH has developed over thousands of reps with this offense that will be missing if CEH is out.

You don't make that up in a couple weeks.

I think they may now dominate in the way the offense did for the last 13 games.

NOT saying the offense will be bad. Just not the Swiss watch it was all season. I think we'll see it most in long 3rd down situations.

I’m with you

I went into this season thinking CEH’s experience would give the younger guys time to develop, and that they’re abilities would take over later in the year, once they settled in

But their lack of picking up the offense became evident, and CEH’s abilities became even more evident. Blocking, avoiding tackles, lining up wide to give Joe a better read, and receiving the ball.

I still think we can impose our will on OK, but we need CEH in January

Again, LSU is loaded with RB talent.

Having an RB who is completely in synch within an offense that is based on intricate coordination, is the issue.

agree 1000% TDP i believe will run like a mad man, defense will step up and Moss will take over the shorter routes.. i wouldn't be surprised to see emory come in for shorter routes either... bet he is getting a lot of work this week..

JB can huddle up and give the new RB the 2 plays in the dirt. The RBs aren’t running anything complicated. I’m more concerned with turnovers using new guys.

The LSU defense will be the story of the playoffs. Klatt and his ramblings about the defense will be put to bed. Our defense is trending up.

We still need a RB though so the Next man up would be the RB

CEH has been great but this is a system.

We’ve gone games without Chase and games without Marshal and we’ve survived.

TDP, curry and Emery have been practicing too.

They won’t be as good as CEH (he is tha starter) but people act like that can’t take a handoff. Or that CEH was single ha didnlty protecrong Joe’s blindside.

CEH does everything well. The biggest issue is that we may have to sub more than we usually do.

^^I don't doubt that a bit.

But will he read the defenses and pick up the blitzes when required? Will he make the right moves to be a checkdown option at the split second Burrow needs him? Did you see the breakdown of the complex 3-route decoy pass play that CEH nailed? (posted today)

CEH has been a beast in every facet of his play in this record breaking offense this season. That position in this elite offense is not plug-and-play.

After this game you will realize why everybody wanted the freshman to play in the first place. It’s gone get ugly and Ray Charles can see it coming from a mile away.
