RIP Offseason (Dec 30, 2015-Sep 2, 2016)

Last day of the offseason, so let it die hard. I love me some Kevin Faulk, Rondell Mealey, Harvey Williams, Justin Vincent, LaBrandon Toefield, Charles Scott, Leonard Fournette, etc., but the best running back at LSU played in 1997, and he played only four games.

Astroturf (Vandy's sh*tty stadium turf) and sleeping white girls were his Kryptonite.

For the doubters:

Fournette is better. There is no doubt in my mind. And I have watched and rewatched all of Collin's LSU and Dolphins games.

Cecile was the best back I ever scene run the ball live in Tiger Stadium. TakeO Spike would definitely concur. Cecile ran him over time after the night they Auburn.

This. Its not really even close. Collins is great..closer to Jeremy hills level, which is Damn good.

Collins was better than both Jeremy Hill and Leonard Fournette. LSU may never have another running back put up 234 yards against Auburn.

Collins was more dominant and just did what he wanted. On and off the field. Fournette has more potential to have a legacy though.

I would not say he is better than any of the players listed because he only played four games. But I will say that until Fournette I have never seen a Tiger running back that made me cringe with his sheer physical capabilities. Jesus, he ran over, through and around Spikes that entire night. And Spikes was one hell of a college LB that looked totally overmatched. Anybody remember how humid it was that night?!

Cecil was a flash of bull running glory. And then he was injured, and then in jail. Fournette is a consistent performer who has been on that super high level for a year now. Ain't no comparison.

At least put Ridley in there. He deserves it.

Ridley was a good running back at LSU, but nowhere near an all time great.

Cecil was a beast. Wasted talent. Fournette is a a great athlete with a good head on his shoulders. He is genuinely a good person. Give me Fournette, he will play his heart out for you.

I wish Labfandon Toefield could have stayed healthy. Good guy that played hard for us.

The only thing I can add to this discussion is that Cecil was a hell of a lot harder to tackle than Anthony Thomas.

Are you serious? LF had like 222 last year and could be had another 80 if he wanted to.

The only reason Cecil got to play was that Faullk was dinged up. Don't forget that Rondell was 12-129 in that same game against Auburn. That LSU OL was dominating.
