Another possibility is Michigan or Wisconsin in the Outback.

Outback generally takes a team from the East, but it could happen. Auburn did it a few years ago IIRC.

Are you nuts? If Fla St beats Fla, but loses the ACC, they might still be the more desirable at-large. Especially for the Orange. Keep them as an automatic bid.

We want to limit the at-large pool as much as possible

No. AM ends up in the Cotton Bowl playing Texas. They're remaining schedule is too weak to move them up.

Since we won't be playing for the big one, I'd just as soon keep it in our back yard and do the Sugar Bowl. I don't think they will have a problem bringing in a good opponent. Be like another home game for us. If Bama blows the SEC game, I would just as soon have another rematch.

TAMU has a very good team and a play making QB. Doubt they would pair the Ag with a Big 12 team in the BCS. Seeing them paste Texas in a bowl game would be nice.

They will take whichever Eastern team falls to them(UGA, South Carolina, or Florida)

Doesn't the Cotton Bowl get a West team and the Outback gets an East team?

Texas will not be high enough to make a BCS bowl, and A&M cannot move past us with their remaining schedule, in my opinion, if we both win out.
But you can bet that UT and A&M in a bowl game, especially the Cotton Bowl is a virtual gold mine for that bowl and everyone involved. It would definitely be one of my favorites of the bowl season.

Honestly, I do not think that LSU will make it to a BCS bowl if Bama & Florida win out. One of those 2 teams has to lose for LSU to have a chance. Otherwise, it would be difficult for LSU to be selected ahead of Bama and Gators for a BCS game.

By the way, the Orange Bowl has become the most boring bowl in the last 8/9 years.

They're going to the Cotton Bowl. Win win for Aggies and Jerry

Would love to see LSU in BCS bowl, but don't see it happening now. Texas AM/Florida/ and Georgia has shot to beat Alabama which leaves Bama.Good shot for the Cotton Bowl.

I would enjoy seeing Manziel shred the vaunted Texas defense.

BCS allways takes 2 from the SEC as long as FLA losses to FLASTATE and we win out we are in, only other danger is A&M but we will be ranked higher.

If Florida wins out they get it they beat us ,and A&M, they deserve it.

We might play Florida state in the fiesta if they beat FLA and we win out!

but they(Flastate) are tied to the orange aren't they?
