CBS night game 2020

May have been talked about with the crazy numbers this game did during the day , but my bet is no way they pass up on taking bama lsu next year for that slot. In a wedding and trying to convince myself i’ll be able to get tv by that time . What do you guys think?

Check Notre Dame's schedule. If they're playing at an SEC stadium, you're screwed. There's like a law or something that Notre Dame gets to have the night game.

Your obsession with them is pathetic. ND-UGA was the highest rated game until last week and seeing as Alabama had won 8 straight and were 17.5 point favorites at the start of the season had thrown 2 shutouts in the past 3 years and 2017 ND-UGA was a good game it makes perfect sense for a for profit business to take the ND UGA. BTW they still had LSU-Bama and it had great ratings that’s called win-win

Don't be surprised if next year's game against Texas is a night game on CBS, which would make the Bama game a day game.

For 2020 there’s 3 options for CBS IMO
Sept 12 Texas @ LSU
Sept 19 UGA @ ALA
Nov 7 ALA @ LSU
If LSU wins natty, there taking the Texas game. May do it anyway.

Texas at LSU might be the night game next year although it seems like CBS does not start showing games till the third Sat of the season so ESPN/ABC might get this game. I just hope it is not CBS 2:30 the second Sat of Sept

all of this is correct, and I'll add on that the Nd/UGA game was literally once in a lifetime seeing as how ND has never played in Athens before in history. It was only the 2nd regular season meeting ever between the schools (the first obviously being at ND in 17).
It's not like it was some "ND gets special privileges" decision.
