Is that because all the defensive starters are sitting out for the draft?

CBS might have it wrong. They have Ole Miss in the Cotton over Oklahoma, and that might not be correct.

Ole Miss drops to Citrus

LSU in ReliaQuest vs Wisc or ND.

ETA: ND is out due to Orange Bowl tie ins with BIG. It willl be LSU vs Wisky.

Citrus has to take the highest rank SEC team not in the NY6, they don’t have a choice. So it all depends where Georgia, Missouri, and Ole Miss land.

I’ve been saying it, this matchup is the most interesting LSU could hope for aside from Oregon. A tired matchup in Florida with a mediocre Notre Dame team for the 3rd time in a decade is lame.

On the flip side, I’m genuinely curious how Iowa’s offense would fare against our defense

We'll get to finally see the moribund Iowa offense come to life

It really comes down to the Cotton Bowl: Oklahoma or Ole Miss. The pick should be Oklahoma, but OU may not want to go back to Dallas.

OU in Cotton puts Ole Miss in the Citrus.

If ole miss stays ahead of Oklahoma in CFP rankings, then they will go to ny6.

Cotton does not have any tie ins.

Sugar and rose are semifinals. Orange gets Fla st and UGA. No other tie ins in ny6.

Liberty will be highest ranked group of 5 champ.

Probably pretty well. That O runs the ball well and time and again defense against the run has proved to be our Achilles' tendon

They have to be in CFP rankings 5-11 to get picked. Oklahoma was 12 and behind ole miss last week.

There is literally NOTHING factual about this. There are 32 NFL GM's making the biggest decision of their professional year with who they take in the first round. You or I have no idea the exact criteria they go by when making that decision. Another huge performance may indeed move the needle with one of them and their decision.

Oklahoma beat SMU who beat Tulane, which hurts Ole Miss SOS. OU also has the better win vs UT, among 2 loss teams. OU is projected to jump into the top 11, possibly over Ole Miss.

Iowa will sell a shite ton of tickets. LSU may sell a couple thousand. This is not a sexy match up by any stretch of the imagination.

But they can bill it as resistible force vs movable object.
