CBS & USA Today Articles - "not good things (are coming to LSU)"

It is now crystal clear that the NCAA is using FBI investigative material to hold coaches accountable for alleged wrongdoing.

Unless there is something else on those wiretaps we don’t know about what Wade said is nothing that will result in major violations. I’m sure they’ll be hit with something but they don’t have an actual dollar amount offer or a paper trail proving there was a follow up on said offer.

It will not be a joke when (if) the NCAA letter arrives. And, how do you know what evidence the NCAA has in their possession? None of us "know" what evidence the NCAA has on WW. However, there are a lot of folks who seem to be "in the know" that are preparing LSU fans for a very bad announcement from the NCAA. I don't know, and you don't know, but there seems to be something here that warrants deep concern.

Really? I think it could be the opposite. The NCAA does not have a "pristine" reputation to begin with. They may look at this FBI/HBO situation as something they now must address, no matter the cost.

Because it’s the NCAA and Wade broke the cardinal rule of “do what you want but don’t make us look bad” so the NCAA will find some ticky tacky thing and give LSU some sort of violation.

Yes, we have. However, this is in response to all those who think Dickie V is wrong. I don't know if he is right or wrong. But, there seems to be more and more information coming out that a "letter" is forthcoming from the NCAA.

I would consider it more practical to report on actual facts, rather than what supposedly is going to happen.

Maybe...Maybe not. However, if they (NCAA) believe WW violated NCAA rules by making an inappropriate offer to a student-athlete, that would NOT be considered a "ticky tacky thing."

The NCAA is already fighting for its life. It has been exposed as a system of near free labor that makes billions of dollars. It’s now eroding away that “amateur” status. Now they are trying to show their rules have teeth. It’s to be expected.

Well, we did what Kansas did, and said go ahead prove it! That is why we will net less sanctions than the others because the NCAA has already investigated the Smart incident and cleared him last year when he played in the tournament

Then you must never watch ESPN or any other sports show, most of what they talk about is speculation.
