They are going to be a problem. They look deep and physical on both sides of the ball.

Canales is a good coach. We also dominated the lions once we got comfortable. We would beat them if we played them midseason.

They’re probably the team to beat in the division. Lions are also trash. We should have beat that team, though unclear if the Saints are any good.

Shough and Young seem like they may be a rivalry for a while hopefully. Should be fun. Wish Young wasn’t in our division as he’s pretty easy to root for.

the real deal means they are a Super Bowl contender.

I'm not discounting what they are doing now but it is easy to get caught up when the Panthers are a stand-alone game.

Lions gonna have a chance to steal this game away from Carolina

ETA: gotta go 87 yards & the only timeout they have left is the 2:00 warning

And the Lions decide to throw a 6 yard pass on 4th & 13 & hope the TE can make people miss

Panthers win

My take is we're still a year away from being truly playoff contenders

These small things occurring are what makes us a young team and the difference between playoffs and not. For example the 4th q collapse vs the raiders. The inability to close the 4th/ot vs Detroit.

those also may be growing pains. Atlanta game outcome will reveal a lot about where the Saints are.

Not a deep team and not a very good team. We’ve had some big injuries already too. Pretty much no running back at the moment. Thin at WR. Inconsistent TE play. Defense on the whole is just so-so. Plus, I’m still a bit bearish on Moore.

Thankfully Shough appears to be a bright spot but staying power at QB in the NFL is hard to come by.
