You could beat SLU with this defense.

LOL yes. Anyone on the roster who knows the run plays could do it. Hand off to Durham/Berry/Johnson, jet sweeps to Thomas and Anderson, the occasional quick screen… no nicked up starters should play this game.

It’s not a rhythm thing if he’s injured

Our offense could stay in the locker room and I'd still put money on LSU

We should be able to beat SLU with the water boy playing quarterback.

If the offense was playing well then I would agree with this. But if he can play he needs to. We need to get the offense some momentum heading into Oxford next weekend.

I wonder if Jackson would look any better with the QB handing off from under center

Long season - we need to keep healthy as possible and just win, even if by 1 point a game.

I hope we can have one of those games like other teams are where they win 70-3.

It’d be nice to get Nuss out at half time up 40pts.

That ain’t Kelly’s way. He’d never do that . Best case we get a lead and he sits 4th qtr.

BK is playing chess! He floated Nuss has been nursing an injury and limited in practice this week but should be ok for SLU. What does that mean? Give MVB the reps with the ones all week, announce Saturday Nuss has a “little twinge” and their going to keep him out “just to be safe” and rest him for Ole Miss.

Jayden Daniels played the equivalent of 1.5 quarters vs Purdue and vs Southern that year he was out with 14:20 minutes IN THE SECOND QUARTER!. Daniels played essentially 1 quarter and LSU was up 44-0. That was Daniels 2nd game at LSU.

What Kelly did vs Southern tells me that he will 100% pull his starting QB if he's not needed.

He seems like he’d be effective running ISO out of the I.

And if its a prolonged injury since summer camp, what exactly is going to happen in 1 week sitting out to cure it?

The coach said, “We’re on the back end of this thing.” So he’s telling you that it’s almost healed.
