And ATL is 9 hours away from BR. Athens is 45 minutes. If the game was in NOLA it would have been overwhelming LSU. Our location always places us at a disadvantage in the SEC title game.

The fact that we were outnumbered isn't my issue. The fact that LSU fans would claim tix to the game with no intention of going, THEN sticking it to other LSU fans by either jacking the prices or selling to uga fans is...

I agree with you there. Just noting that it's not an easy trip for a short weekend after Thanksgiving holidays.

There are a lot of LSU fans doing this... scalping tickets that they bought and had no intention of using... just profiting off other LSU fans. I don't care for the practice either.

I had a buddy sell his 2007 NC ticket to an Ohio St fan for like $300. It was pathetic

That doesn't make sense. He couldn't find an LSU fan with $300?

LSU was going to be in the National Championship game regardless of beating Georgia, correct? People were probably just saving their money for the National Championship game instead of spending it on an air flight, gas in the car, hotel, tickets to SEC Champ, etc...

Not much "dumping" going on.
Prices still holding strong, maybe increasing.

Really irks me. They can sell them locally if they really can't go. But the majority of them are just trying to score a profit.

I was in the GA Dome. It was close to 75% UGA. Easily more than 70%.

I'm thinking it will be a little more than 60% LSU fans in Nawlins.

Do not think so, a lot of folks wanted BCS tix so they did.not want to spend money to go.to ATL. I went and there were Ga fans in almost every LSU section...07 was just as bad...but we will have the.numbers in the dome

Nope, not too many tickets available for the BCSCG. definitely more buyers than sellers, and it' not even close.

FWIW< I was at SECCG, it was 75-25 Georgia/LSU (maybe even 80-20)....and it was actually one of the better SECCG turnouts for LSU. We has more people than we did in 2007 IMO.

For the BCSCG, it will easily be 60-40 LSU.

Selling them at higher prices? Hell yes, it happens all the time, no matter how good LSU is.

I had Arkansas tickets. I had a ton of LSU fans saying "You should sell them dude, you would make a ton." I had to explain to them I don't give a shite about money, I'd rather experience the game. I would never ever sell my LSU tickets to any game unless I could not make it. Nor would I spike up the price for my own gain.

Disgusting practice IMO.

I've been in 2003, 2005, and 2007. This year appeared to me to be the worst turnout of LSU fans of any of them. Still pretty good, but nothing like 2003.

Yeah, 2003 was the best.
